I installed, started, refreshed the server list.
I connected to a Last Man Standing server. waited 10 seconds because there was two man standing, and disconnected.

that's it.

lol pretty much same for me. I'll only start playing it if most servers get updated and leagues are played in 4.2. I just checked gameservers and there's now a patch available to update the servers.

For the moment,
The new stuff and hit detection code (fuck that btw...) does not overcome the animation of the characters.

When someone rush in straight line towards you, but very fast, the hits are still missing (half the time I'd say) even if I am not spamming and in the middle of the torso.

When you run INTO your opponent and shoot at point blank, the hits are still totally random and it still looks like your gun shoots THROUGH the enemy.

Yeah I agree. I don't really see any noticeable improvements with the hits (which is the most important change imo).

Hits are way better, if you spam, you don't hit, even in a medium range. Try semi-auto and you'll see... I think the hits really improved and they did a good job on that. But, 4 years for this, is quite disappointing...

You know when Kokes miss his Snipe shot and then look in the sky walking left and right and in circle while reloading... His character looks like a retard.

Back on the topic of hits: after playing the game a bit more, I see that the hits are quite a bit better, although it's difficult to aim at the enemy cuz they're moving around like retards.

Also my fps is a lot better in 4.2 :O

In the new Uptown, I had drops all the way down to 70 FPS.

I haven't played the new Uptown yet. I don't really plan on it. I used to have normally 20-40 fps (drops sometimes to 12 or 15), but now I have 30-60 fps (drops sometimes to 28).

At this point, I still prefer 4.1.1. The animations ruin it too much for me.

Yeah, and it's 10x worse than 4.1. I wouldn't even recommend installing it, nobody even plays it anymore (at least not competitively).

4.2 is the best thing that ever happened. (I play only 4.1.1.)
Since 4.2 was released, I did NOT experience ANY gravity change / Nuke / Slap / Ban / useless medding / etc.

TY 4.2, I can play 4.1.1 in peace now !
